Terms of Use

Agreement

By downloading or using Quarry (“the App”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Quarry is developed and distributed by Quarry Software (“we”, “us”).

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Quarry on macOS devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the Mac App Store terms of service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to gain unauthorized access to systems you do not own or have permission to access
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App outside of mechanisms we provide
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App

Your Servers and Data

Quarry connects to remote servers that you configure. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have authorization to access those servers and modify files on them. We do not access, monitor, or store your remote server data.

Rollback Snapshots

Quarry creates local snapshots before file uploads as a convenience. Snapshots are stored on your Mac and are not guaranteed to be complete, uncorrupted, or permanent. They are not a substitute for proper backups. We are not liable for data loss resulting from reliance on snapshots.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Quarry is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Updates and Changes

We may update the App or these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes to these terms will be noted in the app changelog.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies.
